TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Description of Service

StoryNudge provides a web-based productivity, reminder, and visual content scheduling tool. The Service allows users to create visual reminder cards, generate media, and programmatically schedule posts to connected third-party social media platforms, including TikTok and Instagram (via Meta platforms).

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

• Minimum Age: You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. Third-Party Social Media Platforms & API Integrations

Our Service connects with third-party social media platforms via official Developer Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).

• Authorization & OAuth: By connecting your TikTok or Instagram account, you authorize us to manage authentication tokens and publish scheduled content on your behalf in accordance with granted permissions.
• Compliance with Third-Party Terms: You explicitly agree to comply with the Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and Developer Policies of connected platforms (TikTok Terms of Service and Meta/Instagram Terms of Use).
• Platform Limitations: We are not responsible for delivery failures, delays, or account restrictions caused by third-party API rate limits, revoked permissions, expired tokens, or third-party platform downtime.

4. Privacy Settings & Visibility of Scheduled Content

• User Responsibility for Visibility: You are solely responsible for selecting privacy settings (e.g., SELF_ONLY / Private, Friends, Close Friends, or Public) for your scheduled content.
• Private Mode Default: Automated reminders scheduled to social profiles may default to private or restricted visibility modes (SELF_ONLY). You acknowledge that changing these settings may make personal reminders visible to other users or the public.

5. User Content & Conduct

• Ownership: You retain all ownership rights to the images, text, and reminders ("User Content") created or scheduled through StoryNudge.app.
• License: You grant Chaff & Wheat a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and transmit your User Content solely to execute the scheduled publishing Service.
• Prohibited Content: You agree not to schedule content that is illegal, defamatory, harmful, or infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.

6. Intellectual Property

All software, design, code, and interfaces associated with Chaff & Wheat (excluding User Content) are the exclusive property of StoryNudge.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. CHAFF & WHEAT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR UNPOSTED REMINDERS.
